I've had these glasses for about 4 months now. This morning I put juice in my thermo mug instead of coffee. I took a spoon and stirred the juice a little. I drank about halfway through the juice and the next thing I noticed was a different texture than the juice in my mouth. At first I thought it was fruit. Then I felt a pain in my throat and realized it was a piece of glass. My partner then encouraged me to stick my finger down my throat to induce vomiting. I was scared because my saliva was bleeding as I spat and tried to get rid of the jar stuck in my throat. Luckily it worked. I am writing to you primarily to let you know how disturbing and scary this has been, especially with the coronavirus ramping up in NYC hospitals. I hope I don't have to go to the emergency room. I watch my stomach and drink water. Second, this product is extremely unsafe. If the glass breaks when stirring juice at room temperature, then this is clearly a product malfunction. I really hope no one else gets hurt and as a consumer I will do everything in my power to get this product taken off the market. I have sent an email to the company but have not received a reply.
