Review on 🚙 Rugged Ridge 12920.30 Front Floor Liner, Black, Fits 2007-2012 Dodge/Jeep Caliber, 2007-2017 Compass/Patriot MK by Evan Roberts

My wife and I have a 2014 Jeep Patriots. She bought hers a few months before I bought mine. I bought her WeatherTech FloorLiner DigitalFit mats, front and rear wheel sets for her Patriot. WeatherTech products are well made and have weathered the long, harsh winter well. However, based on the very good reviews elsewhere, I decided to try the Rugged Ridge liners for my Patriot. Based on a head-to-head comparison of earbuds made for the exact same application, I can't help but admire the Rugged Ridge earbuds! The RR liners are light years better than the WeatherTech liners. They're thicker/heavier but more flexible, with spikes on the bottom that keep them firmly in place and a snug fit. The front liners actually allow the floor mat support tip in the carpet to be threaded through the liner, thus holding the liner fully in place while maintaining a watertight seal around the floor tip. The ridge is incredibly good at draining melted snow and preventing full puddles from forming inside. The driver's side front mat has different thickness of grooves to accommodate the heel of your shoes/boots when pedaling. When designing these liners, the designers at RR have taken care of everything. WeatherTechs are a bit slippery in comparison, don't allow a ground spike to be stuck through the liner in our application, are lighter, more plastic-like and not as flexible, and don't have nearly as many channels. I have purchased RR front, rear and cargo liners and this review covers all of those items. Great liners!
