Echogear Outlet Shelf & IdeaWorks Outlet Organizer

I bought an Echogear Outlet Shelf along with an IdeaWorks Outlet Organizer to see which is better. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DQ146E0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Both products are plastic but the Echogear looks premium. It has no sharp edges and is stronger than the slimmer IdeaWorks design. The Echogear Shelf in matte soft white is visually appealing and has minimal cleaning gaps. It comes with a metal wall plate and the necessary screws. Whoever designed this product thought of the details and I applaud them. For a plastic wall shelf, it's reasonably pleasing to the eye. Too bad I couldn't save it. Unfortunately I had to return the Echogear shelf as the top plug on my wall is actually the light switch and I don't feel comfortable reaching under the shelf to get to the switch. When the device is charging on the top shelf, accessing the switch becomes even more inconvenient as the power cord that charges my device is in the way. Sit over the pedestal (as it is now) or sit inverted under the pedestal. If the shelf was under the wall outlet, it would be easier to operate the light switch and the power cords would not get in the way. Another feature I'd like to see on the Echogear shelf is being able to wrap additional cables. beautiful, dense, neat species. As now, the extra cord dangles from the top or bottom of the shelf. The IdeaWorks Outlet Organizer has a place for a string under the shelf, which is very convenient. However, the design of the IdeaWorks Organizer leaves a lot to be desired. It's thin, sharp, and cheap, and yet the IdeaWorks organizer works better than the Echogear shelf for my needs at the moment. However, I'm impressed with Echogear. If you need a little more space to charge your devices and cable length isn't an issue, the Echogear is recommended.
