Pure power. They sent a 12V 3A power supply that powers the unit well at lower volumes. Connect 2 Klipsch KG 3.5 speakers (65W, 8 ohms) to it, which sound rich. The amplifier distorts the sound at high volume when played at lower frequencies. So you can hear clipping on tweets pretty quickly. This is with and without the subwoofer connected, there is no difference. Mine also seems to have a problem with the low-pass filter. it doesn't seem to do anything (4 ohm load on the aux channel, 8 ohm load on the stereo channel). A good little amp so far, clean sound at medium levels, no hum, no hiss. I had to return the product due to distortion at a higher level and firstly because the crossover doesn't work properly (or really doesn't filter out anything that you hear when you plug in a subwoofer with a 4 ohm load). A great replacement amp for your Logitech speakers that have suddenly died. .Just cut off the extra plug and RCA ends and you're back in business. much more power than the Logitech 20W requires. But not powerful enough for a 65W RMS speaker.
