This roof bag is where I installed the new adjustable bars. It's good that the bars are adjustable because this bag is big and I had to spread the bars further. I then put our two large suitcases in (no hand luggage). Perfect fit, I had even more room on the sides to stuff the softer side pockets. Then the next day before our trip the wind gusted and blew and I thought it would be a great test. The next day we did our 2 day trip south of about 1000 miles and everything was fine, no problems, dry, safe and quiet. The 1000 mile return was the same, more rain and wind, and again no problem. I put a little zip combo in as a little deterrent, but we had no issues with theft clogging up underwear, socks and clothing, LOL. Also, we used a smaller bag for our supplements and electronics because it was easier and quicker when we stopped than trying to bang the bag on the roof and because we didn't want to open and close the roof in inclement weather. Pocket. I am very satisfied with the product and the value for money.
