My wife loves to cook. 4 years ago she suffered a very serious injury to her wrist and arm. As I want her to continue enjoying her passion for cooking, I'm always on the lookout for new, improved and lighter kitchen appliances for her. Your hand and wrist can literally fail at any moment, so light is extremely important to their functionality. Enter these mesh filters. We have been very satisfied with everything we have ever purchased from this company. We don't buy their entire line of products, but everything we have purchased has been of exceptional quality. These filters are no exception. Some of the filters you put on the counter will make a grid. Not this one. They are strong and at the same time light in the hand. Even with my big hands, I don't feel like I need to be careful with it. In fact, I even squeezed the 2 wire crank arms together to test their stiffness. Obviously the goal wasn't to bend them but to squeeze them well and they didn't give. You are perfect. They're filters now, not life-saving devices, right?
