So my situation is a bit different than what most people would use this satellite dish for. I don't have a trailer, I have a jeep. I recently installed an all aluminum roof rack and an all aluminum roof tent on my jeep. I overlooked the fact that this add-on is ruining my satellite reception. First I bought a cheap satellite dish and set it up on top of the tent. The reception is almost zero. The radio constantly sought reception, even in an open parking lot with no obstructions in the sky. After some thought, I became curious about how truckers deal with satellite reception. This antenna is the solution. I made it through eastern and central Massachusetts and then up into the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The only areas where I lost reception were where I expected it to be. I'm not sure a satellite radio antenna can penetrate a granite mountain. This antenna is 10 out of 5, excellent reception (better than factory) and honestly the price is really worth it, no ads or bad sound quality on regular old VHF. Do you have problems with acceptance?
