I'm writing this review on January 3, 2022 and I'm working on a 14-inch Macbook Pro with an M1x Max chip and macOS 12.2 Beta (i.e. Monterey). THIS MONITOR DOES NOT WORK AT FULL RESOLUTION and this cannot be changed. The highest you can do is 3440 x 1400 at 60Hz, which is unacceptably blurry. This is a limitation imposed by Apple, so not even SwitchResX can fix it (you can't set custom permissions on Apple Silicon). Very disappointing. I installed the beta hoping it would fix the problem but it doesn't. Since this is from Apple and the situation has existed for over a year, I assume Apple will never fix the issue. I am planning to return the monitor I have to add that before buying this monitor I asked a question about this very problem and several people replied that the problem was fixed. Maybe they were so naive that they thought 3440 x 1400 is said to be the best the monitor is capable of, but the issue is definitely NOT addressed, at least on the Macbook. the monitor seems to work on the mini when used as the primary monitor (at least that's what a friend told me).
