This is the second time I have bought these for my Cuisinart DCC-3400 coffee maker which I bought about 3 1/2 years ago. This suggests that I refuse to replace them every month as recommended. However, despite my loose replacement schedule, the filters did a good job of keeping our coffee flavor consistent each day. We make about 48 ounces of coffee every day and if you do the math you'll see that there's a lot of water they filter just fine to have a good effect. To be honest I can't tell any taste difference between using a new filter and one that is over a month old. From now on, however, I will try to change them every month to the best of my ability; They're cheap, easy to swap out, and look identical when placed next to the filter that comes with the coffee maker. I would consider a subscription and save, but since we travel out of town a lot I don't want to risk getting a delivery when we're out of town and leaving it on our porch for days or weeks to let people know we're not home. I highly recommend!
