I purchased this LED bulb kit to replace the standard halogen bulbs in my 2012 Hyundai Sonata and they were so much better and brighter than them Standard lamps, that's the difference was literally day and night! They are very bright and provide excellent lighting far superior to any halogen or HID bulb at a fraction of the cost. And they look better too. EASY INSTALLATION. Now it really depends on the type of headlight assembly you have on your car. There are two main ways to mount bulbs in headlights, one is a notch locking mechanism where you align the notch on the bulb with the notch on the headlight and twist into position. For these cars, these bulbs should fit very easily with no problems. My Hyundai Sonata uses a different type of headlight mechanism, where you use a spring clamp to hold the bulb firmly to the headlight assembly and enclose it in a fully enclosed cap/housing. For these cars (2011-2015 Sonata for sure) the bulb is a real PITA to fit. First, there is very little space within the enclosed assembly to accommodate the entire bulb, plug, and large ballast. It is possible. But it took at least an hour to swap out 4 bulbs in my car due to space limitations and the bulbs being larger - I also had to drill some vent holes in the bulb housing caps to allow some of the heat to escape and allow the fan to work properly - I didn't like the plugs. It was more like a standard outlet and not much waterproof, I taped it in place. ORIENTATION. Because LED bulbs only emit light from two sides, it's important to line them up in the correct alignment with your headlight to get a sharp definition. (and prevent oncoming traffic from being dazzled) as well as optimum dispersion. With these headlights, the LED chips must always be aligned to the side, i.e. left and right, in order to obtain the correct light image as the starting position. You can then make small adjustments to match the radiation pattern of your original bulbs, but aim the machine at the wall. They are far superior to halogens in terms of brightness/scatter and range. For high beam, they illuminate a much larger area and farther than halogens. The fans are very quiet and you can hear them running even when the engine is not running and the hood is open. Very beautiful pure white color temperature, no noise. too much bluish side FINAL THOUGHTS Overall I am very impressed with these LED headlights as they are much brighter, have much longer range and spread compared to OEM halogen bulbs. These lamps are great value for money and I would recommend them. However, note that installation can be tricky for spring clip headlight assemblies.
