Definitely found that opening a bottle of champagne is way easier when you're not sure if the cork is moving. It relies on good grip compared to other openers, so it may not be suitable for some people with grip issues. It's also impossible to control the release, so it will always open with a "pop" - you won't be able to open with a "sigh".
