We've been using the Interfit F5 kit at home for a while but it's too much to try and carry around so I bought it to use Lightweight to use portable setup for short trips, video interviews and lifestyle/food pictures. The light output of this kit is pretty decent and it has some of the same features as the F5 kit with the ability to turn on some of the bulbs. The quality of the mounts seems pretty good too, although they seem to be a bit lighter than the Interfit components. I don't like that the bulbs come in boxes and have to be put back in the boxes for shipping. There isn't enough room to put the heads back into the case with the bulbs in place without damaging the bulbs (or at least I couldn't figure out how to properly position the bulbs). I think the inclusion of some dividers or "cubes" with zips for the pear heads would be a nice addition. Grid below, cubes above. Also, I didn't like that the "single lamp head" was somehow permanently attached to the softbox. The real hurdle for me, however, was that the posts, and especially the arrowhead, seemed very fragile and wobbly. They didn't inspire much confidence and really made me very nervous. I wasn't expecting the highest quality here given the low price, but I expected them to at least support the weight of the kit that came with them. I was disappointed with the quality of the stands, the plastic components and the overall poor quality. kit assembly. If you installed this and left it in place and didn't keep removing the bulbs I think that would be a great setup, but for me with travel, shooting on location etc it just doesn't sit well.
