Review on Subwoofer Bestisan Subwoofers Amplifier Bluetooth by Marcus Rash

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Compact but not very powerful

a little later I connected my TV to RCA with 3.5mm cables. An optical one would be nice, but then you can't control the volume with the TV off the hook (most TVs have an optical output, which has a fixed volume) and I don't want to keep reaching back to the subwoofer to adjust the volume. .I have noticed that the device never goes into standby by itself. It stays forever in the mode I'm using (yellow for analog input). Power consumption is low when there is no input (about 2.6W). Another inconvenience is that I haven't found a way to know what volume the device is at. The rotary encoder spins indefinitely and there's no other visual indication that you've hit maximum (or minimum) volume. A nice feature of this unit is that it has a line out which I use to drive a bookshelf speaker amplifier. It works well. I found the bass performance was not what I expected, even considering the size. I use it in my bedroom, which is admittedly more or less large, and while music now sounds better with more bass, you'll hardly notice the difference with movies. Place. For about double the price, you can get something like a 10-inch Polk Audio, which has a lot more bass and auto-standby, but takes up a lot more space. Another alternative is a soundbar with a subwoofer, which I would recommend unless you already have a speaker setup that, like me, you want to keep.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
