Size 18-24 is perfect for my 20 month old and he usually wears a size 2 t shirt with shirts. So they are a bit big. Got it just in time for some of the photos we had planned for the next day (excellent planning on my part). I tried it on, put it in the wash and when I took it out I noticed a stain on the collar that has completely migrated to the other side. There was nothing I could do about it at the time, and it was on the back, so I decided we were going to ride it. I was ironing clothes for the pictures and when I got to this shirt the sleeve turned brown. I looked at the care label (because things get done in that order, right?) and it says the shirt is 100% cotton but can't be ironed. It doesn't make sense to me, but apparently there's a reason he's saying that. Thank goodness the discoloration came out in the wash but be aware.
