I was a little surprised when I received the heavy box as these mirrors were described as cheap. I think the real glass looks a bit cheap compared to the original mirrors, it's not that noticeable and they work well. However, when fully extended, there is more vibration, which distorts the view somewhat. For comparison, I only swapped the front passenger mirror at first and since I want the wide-angle front passenger mirror to be large instead of small, I quickly got used to it. . Then I replaced the driver's mirror and I'm thrilled. I like the larger overall size of the mirrors and the vertical height. The driver's side mirror requires more head movement than the passenger's side mirror because it's farther away. So if the driver requests the seat to be all the way forward it can be very difficult to adjust as it requires more than one look, interestingly I never thought of that. These mirrors fold up and down which is great. . You need something reflective, so I ordered some reflective tape. Overall these mirrors are great considering the lower price point. ($80) I'm very glad I ordered it. You make my truck better. I just hope I don't accidentally rip them off.
