It's definitely painful for the eyes and quite big. You definitely can't avoid it, but it's nothing for decoration. & I mean. You have to clean the filter, and the filter gets pretty dry. Other than that, this is a pretty standard humidifier and does what it's designed to do. It makes an odd gulping sound that doesn't bother me too much. Aroma capsules are quite expensive and rather useless. Don't buy this just for those flavor capsules.
