This bed cover looks beautiful, but produces an incredible amount of lint! Each wash leaves a layer of webbing on my machine that needs a thorough cleaning. It takes forever to dry completely, and the lint filter is covered in thick leaves that roll under their own weight. I do this at 30 minute intervals to keep up with the amount of lint collected during each cycle. If my dryer catches fire, it'll be because of this blanket. Where does all this fluff come from you ask? The underside of the blanket looks torn. I've had it for about 6 months and have washed it about 4 times. It's a mess. It literally dissolves with every wash.
