I just bought a 2000 Subaru Legacy GT and it still had the factory stereo. The music channels weren't as clear as I'd like and they weren't available via Bluetooth/USB. After searching the web for a decent Apple CarPlay compatible double din stereo, I stumbled upon it and saw that it had good reviews at a good price. I watched the installation video on YouTube and thought "I can do this myself". Local stores have charged over $300 for an Apple CapPlay-compatible device, but have also done things I wasn't looking for. than i expected. Well packaged and came with what was said in the video (device and adapter with installation instructions). I have already bought Metra belts for my car. After connecting: After plugging it in and powering up the family for a little outing, we were all impressed with the sound quality and how well it worked with CarPlay. I just moved to a new area and wanted something with GPS and after some research I found that this can be achieved with CarPlay so this is everything I wanted from a stereo apart from basic device navigation (on screen buttons) and button function devices.
