I'm not sure about the durability as I just received it but I have to say I'm very happy with the purchase. The shoes fit my daughter perfectly, I was a little hesitant about the sizing based on other reviews, but if your child's feet are not too wide or flat they should be true to size. My daughter started walking when she was about a year old, but I couldn't find shoes that were flexible enough for her and had good support. She trips over her own feet all the time, I took a chance and they are amazing. They're a bit difficult to put on, but that makes up for the fact that she can't take them off as easily as if the shoes were strappy. I would suggest taking a risk and really making sure the size you get is just right for your little one.
