I've taken this pen and used it in almost every way on almost every vacation in my career. It has been to several different continents and then used underwater at depths of 20-30 feet and so far I have had absolutely no leaks inside the tank and everything has stayed dry. I use it more often than original GoPro pens. and some other pens i bought in the past and i think it's time to get another one. The only point of criticism would be that the supplied screw is completely rusted and unfortunately none of my professional screws fit into the housing, that would be the only reason for a new purchase, I was even on vacation. I was in Australia a few months ago and sat next to a couple who wanted to swim with us at the manatees and they had the same pin and when I opened the pin to drop some money in they were stunned because they didn't once did Realize you can open it and put your valuables in the pen!
