In fact, it keeps my steering wheel cool enough to touch and drive through the Arizona desert. When it's 115 degrees Fahrenheit outside and 140 degrees Fahrenheit or more in your parked car, there's no problem grabbing the steering wheel and driving straight away. Staples are no longer needed.
