When I bought a laptop, I wanted to take the T15 Gen2, but I was faced with the fact that they are simply not on sale and are not expected. There was no T or P series for 15 inches. In the end, I had to choose from what was. Took with i7, 8GB of RAM and 256GB hard drive. I immediately upgraded the RAM to 32gb. I took it for work (I'm a programmer). I will compare with the working T15 Gen1 (they stood side by side on the table for a while) So, the comparison is not in favor of the E series. What immediately caught my eye 1) The screen is worse. Yellow, not as bright. Enough to write code, but the T series is obviously better (the resolution is the same) 2) The camera is worse. On video calls, you can immediately see the difference. 3) The battery drains noticeably faster. 4) It seemed that under load the fans are noisier. But compared to my old 2022 Thinkpad, it whispers. Of the benefits - it cost me about 100k along with replacing the RAM with 32GB. I took it to KNS. A similar T series laptop would cost 40 thousand more. My conclusion was this: if there was something similar to the T or P series, I would take it, albeit more expensive. The advantages are obvious. But in principle, you can live with this, it works smartly, there are no complaints about this. Well, it's cheaper too.
