I ordered one of these units two years ago and installed them on my well pump and have never had a problem with them. So when it came time to install a filter in my country house, I bought the same one. I installed it and tested it for a week, stayed there, no problem. . While I was squatting, a neighbor called and said that water was leaking from my underground. He turned it off and told me the filter was broken. I just got here and found the whole cylinder lying on the floor with the top ring completely cut off. This device lasted TWO MONTHS! I'm not sure if this is a cost cutting product or anything but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Until you get rid of the water of the herd and buy a new device, it's better if you just spend more money in advance.
