I wanted this to add a dedicated 2 amp USB port to the back of my car and it helps to add an air conditioner there too which I still use for the Charging my touring use gear and electronics. I like an LED voltage bar. The fan is a little noisy, but doesn't take too much getting used to. Excellent customer service! They quickly helped me figure out how to install it.
