The Senfhome drill bit makes a great gift for any gardener, especially the elderly. The shorter length makes it handier and lighter. It was exactly as described. It fits on our Ryobi cordless drill driver without an adapter. I've read in other reviews that you should use the lowest speed possible and work up to a speed you can handle. This is definitely the right way, otherwise you can lose control of the driver. I live in SWFL so we have sandy soil with lots of phosphorus rocks. This is great for this because it helps lift the rocks to the surface. I used it to drill many holes side by side to loosen up the soil (from roots and rocks) so I could use a shovel to make a big hole for planting larger bushes. I also like to use it to mix the soil and fertilizer mix in my wheelbarrow, it's much easier and better to spread than with a shovel. Of course, this makes it easier to plant several bowls with flowers or flower bulbs. Why didn't I get this sooner! Excellent purchase! It will become your indispensable helper in many garden projects.
