I bought these for my daughter's 10th birthday and we both loved them. They are very cute and colorful and she loves having so many options. I bought them because they are hypoallergenic, the shank of the earrings didn't cause any problems, but lately my daughter has been irritated by the front of her earlobes. Severe allergies to metals run rampant in my family, so I think it has more to do with our extreme sensitivity than earrings that aren't hypoallergenic. We plan to cover the back of the designs with clear nail polish so she can continue enjoying the earrings because she loves them so much.
