These are my first earrings that are actually hypoallergenic. I have these silver lever-back earrings. The hooks are of pure silver, but the spring and bolt within are of copper, and they inflame my ears. I bought plastic bobby pins to keep my ears healthy. But the pad got stuck in the hole. It was an extreme case. Here are cute I have Christmas earrings and cute spring earrings. I will be buying some more in some other sets, at this price they steal.

Whatever material is used to make these earrings, it is not stainless steel as advertised. After a week in my daughter's ear, her ear became inflamed and the earring turned black and almost looked like the parts were rusty. Glad she's up to date on the tetanus shot! It's garbage!

Do yourself a favor and just pay the extra money and get real earrings - 14k+ gold, 925 sterling silver, platinum, titanium, surgical grade stainless steel, etc. I will never buy your earrings from Best Buy again.

Very cute earrings. Coloring is clean and of high quality. They are a great size for little girls. Only the largest (llamas) detach (just a little) from my 8 year old's earlobe. There are no problems with irritation at all, although we've only had it for a few days. If this changes I will update my review.
