Review on 🔌 Enhanced Monoprice 116048 Blackbird HDMI Extender: Transmit Crystal-Clear Audio and Video up to 100m via Single CAT6 (TCP/IP) with IR Support by Adam Hardy

This little device allowed me to bring my old TV into my office to hear everything on my Zone 2 Out HT receiver. The HD picture quality is impeccable and the remote blaster works with my source devices (although not my Yamaha HT receiver - I have to use my smartphone app to toggle the Zone 2 output). Very good result for the price and I sent back another brand of the same type of device. Update: After a year and a half of use and a recent move, this thing is dead to me - I can't get a signal from the receiver no matter what I do. Sigh. It is not clear if I will replace with the same block. Update: It worked great with the dedicated cable in House A. I was moving and had trouble getting started, but it worked for a few months while I was in House B. Then I went back to House A for nine months and everything was fine. Then I went back to House B, and what used to work well doesn't work at all now. I have a spliced 2 piece ethernet cable and that might be the cause, but it's the same wiring that worked before! I've spent too much time on this thing to believe it will work, so I'm giving up. I can't get a great picture of 10ft industrial cable in the same room at the moment.
