So, I see a lot of fake claims for this product, but mine seems perfectly legit. Came in a purple sealed Urban Decay bubble bag, the palette itself was in an Urban Decay box and my much makeup savvy daughter looked at it and authenticated so it's out of the way. BUT I can see where some people were scribbling when they got theirs. Was my palette dirty? I mean it had a little dirt on the outside or maybe some eyeshadow on the outside? I had to scrape off the logo, leaving a powdery substance on my fingers. Second, the palette is HARD to open. I mean it's kind of hermetically sealed when it's closed. I broke my nails trying to open it. The shadows themselves are very comfortable, almost do not crumble, well pigmented, fit well. I saw another review where I thought it was fake because the palette is small, but that seems unfounded as it's clearly one of their mini palettes. For the price, this size matches the UD. That's why I deducted a star because my palette wasn't completely clean on the outside, but apart from that small complaint it's fine.
