Ideal for storing jewelry. I love it. The faux leather case feels a little loose on the top of the box, which is a bit of a concern and explains my four star rating instead of five. But as long as I'm gentle in my daily use, I think it should be fine. The box was packed very well with lots of styrofoam to keep it intact. The mirror was very dirty and had streaks, but was easy to clean. I LOVE the smallest compartments for my earrings. My previous jewelry box only had 4 large earring compartments so this is an upgrade for me and makes it easier to mix and match each morning. I use the long sections on the left for short necklaces and chokers. I think this box suits people of all genders as it is very neutral and modern with a black look. I like that the clasp isn't tight. Some people may prefer that this is the case. I would recommend this to everyone. I was looking for something a little more stylish on the outside but internal storage is what matters most to me and after a year of frustrating jewelry storage options at local stores this is a real find. It's very good for the price. (UPDATE 7/26/18: The original loose top of my coffin is completely gone and feels firm and smooth, no issues or issues after a few months of use. Very pleased!)
