I was very reluctant to buy a notebook online as I prefer to feel the texture of the paper when I buy it. But this album was great .bought it first for pencil work (pencil 2b) but I've also used it for watercolors and it works well with pencil too.The only thing about pencil is its textured paper so there's no soft smooth result when this is what you are looking for.Also the size and weight are good.And each sheet has a perforation on the top so easy to tear off.
