I usually use Annie Sloan, but I was curious if this product would hold up to her chalk paint.
Chalk paint by Annie Sloan is the best in my opinion, but sometimes $37 a liter can be expensive. I had a small painting job for table legs so I ordered this chalk paint. Overall, Annie's color was smoother, but this color worked great. I applied two coats to the legs and sides of my wooden table, they had a nice black matte finish and now it looks like a more modern, new piece of furniture. I like it and recommend it for smaller jobs.
