Seborrheic dermatitis and lupus affecting scalp/hair

I have seborrheic dermatitis and lupus affecting scalp/hair. I have itchy pimples, dandruff, hair loss. I take medication, prescription shampoo and see a dermatologist. I also no longer use conditioner and have had to change all my skincare and bath products. That being said, everyone is different in terms of what works. So for me, after most of it cleared up on my face and the hair loss was more stable, I looked for a scalp scrub to hopefully get rid of some of the bumps and flakes or at least make it more manageable. I only got the product a few hours ago and only used it once. So far my scalp and hair feel great. I used a scrub, rinsed and then used my prescription shampoo. My hair was very clean but almost dry and brittle when washing. I was disappointed that this would further damage my skin/hair. I let it air dry and now it feels fantastic. I have fewer hits and hopefully stay that way or at least become more manageable as I said. My hair looks clean and soft. My scalp feels a bit irritated (but I expected it anyway), but it's still nice and clean. I plan to use this once a week and we'll see how it goes. I recommend trying it. I saw in other reviews that it was difficult to wash off so I applied it and rinsed in a water bath. Then I used the shampoo in the shower. Washed out okay. I would say I have fine or medium length hair, but I have a lot of it (thank goodness!) and it's medium length.
