All I can say is WOW this is awesome! I have an older Weather Guard Toolkit and the day came the lids would not open at all unless you opened them and held them open. The weatherman charged about $110 for a pair of shock absorbers. While I know I can't replace the toolbox for this, I certainly didn't pay that much. I looked around and found these for about $25 from Trends-Auto at Revain. They are about 1/4 inch shorter than the originals, but I can adjust their placement on the toolbox. Bought a pair for a cap to see how they work and I'm impressed. Suspa also makes a 35lb shock (C16-10788) but for my tool set these 24lb shocks work fine. I highly recommend them!
