Review on Dorman 741-813: High-Quality Front Driver Side Power Window Motor and Regulator Assembly for Ford / Mercury Models by Barton Perez

I installed it myself and have two complaints: 1) It seems to run slower than the original hardware. It can only be a perception and I might not have noticed if it hadn't been mentioned in another review. There wasn't such a difference that I couldn't stand it. 2) This is the reason for the low rating. My window stopped working again. I removed the inner door panel to examine it and found that the motor electrical connector was disconnected. Then, after carefully examining the fit of the connector between the motor and the wiring, I found that they didn't close as they should. Didn't notice this as I rushed to install the motor to reassemble and it worked. Played with them quite a bit and they just don't go together. I ended up gluing them together hoping they wouldn't fall apart again. Not a very elegant solution, but hopefully one that will last the truck's lifetime.
