Flatbed truck driver for the North East region. It works exactly as advertised. I personally have a 2000w inverter installed in my Freightliner Cascadia and use this sandwich maker almost every morning to make grilled cheese sandwiches (ham, turkey, salami etc.). What I really like is that even when I arrive at my destination to unpack and unpack a load, I can turn off the power and when I get back to the truck the sandwiches are still tasty and hot. The grill is easy to clean after use. Warning. When I first used the device and unplugged it, I put it back in a certain corner of the truck where I also kept my water bottles and it melted all my water bottle tops. If you are a truck driver, put the device on the truck bed after using and unplugging; It burns plastic items, it won't burn your sheets. Do this at your own risk and make sure your inverter can handle the WATTS of this article. Overall: I can only recommend it!
