My family hatched chickens (and ducks) as part of the COVID summer project. Now that the chicks are 6 weeks old we wanted to house them in incubators while we prepare to move them to an outdoor stall. (They run during the day and stay in incubators at night). They sat happily on the perch pole for an hour - they needed no introduction. This is the perfect thickness and they will be amazing on the run! The design is solid and intuitive. This product is highly recommended for livestock.
