Short pants, wider at the waist.
I am 5"10, usually a US size 9. I ordered a large since it said sizes 8-10 would be a large. I am an athletic fit, and the waist was very large. The pants were way to short to even cuff the Jean's at the bottom. Other than that the material was great and the rips were just fine.
