Avoid combo card problems with this one
Did some research to find this 1394b ONLY FireWire PCI with TI chipset. The danger lies in those ubiquitous combo cards that may not recognize B-Specs when actually used with some devices. I use this on a MOTU 828mk3 and it's perfect (where others struggle with combo cards). Works great, price is reasonable, thumbs up.
