The brush handles are definitely not as pretty as I thought. Looking a little more closely at the photos on the listing, I can say that the photos are accurate if you do more than just look at them. I personally don't really care what my brush handles look like, so I'm not mad - especially since they glow in the dark! And they charge FAST; I had them out of the box for about five minutes before attempting to carry them into a dark room. They didn't glow perfectly, but they glowed! I assume a longer charge will give a better result (I did this during the day so I used sunlight, not artificial lighting). As for the brushes themselves, I really like them. The bristles are comfortable and soft, with a good thickness, which makes them easy to work with. One had some loose bristles but I just clipped them off. I wanted them to be better suited to different sized point tools since I only had a standard sized point tool before. I have no complaints about the ends of the dots or this product in general. Especially for the price! If you like the look of the pen or don't care how the pen looks, I would recommend these.
