I was participating in a cancer relay and one of the gifts given to cancer survivors was a Salton Wet Tunes shower radio. The radio took a good 1-2 minutes to turn on, and if you're not careful, it went off. After a week it wouldn't start at all. I know the batteries are good because the clock is working. When it worked, and I use the word sparingly, the reception was so poor I could barely hear it at high volume. I was extremely disappointed in the product. I'm glad I didn't purchase the product. Despite this, I am confident that the group that put together the relay will no longer ask for this unusual product. You'd think the manufacturer would sacrifice a usable product, because what's better than "free" advertising? This commercial for "Wet Tunes" failed. This product, "Salton Wet Tunes", is in the bin. I hope nobody else buys it.
