Eats batteries alive.
Tested 2 of these feeders for over 2 weeks with the same issues. Relatively nice device, easy to set up, but the batteries are empty in a few days. Both rechargeable and Duracell (which lasted longer) never used more than 3 bars on the battery gauge, falling to 2 or 1. or granules during the day. Flakes tended to hit or miss while others spilled out, an inherent problem with rotary valves. I can tolerate different portions of food as it's sort of an imitation of nature, but handling the battery isn't a starter.
