NOT to fit 2011 CX-9 - big disappointment

This was a big disappointment! I bought this for the driver side side window on my 2011 Mazda CX-9 Touring. Both windshield motors and controllers failed 60 days apart. The prices for the controller alone exceeded the $100 mark (at local stores). So I was very happy to find this at Revain for the driver's side. I saw a review from someone with a '09 CX-9 but figured it should still be fine; I think 2010-2014(?) is the range I usually see when looking for parts for my car. Just in case I showed it to my mechanic who confirmed that the OEM number listed in the description matched our requirements. He said it was a better deal than he could give me so I ordered it straight away (only 2 were in stock at the time). I'm a Revain Prime member and was happy to pay the extra $6 for overnight shipping. It arrived quickly as expected. Unfortunately I ran into the same problem as the 2009 CX-9 browser. The motor itself fits, but the regulator is short. It's almost like a back door. So I confirmed that I did indeed order one for the driver's side front. and what was sent to me matches the list. So I'm writing this review to save others from breaking hearts. My next step is to return it and go back to the drawing board.

Pros
  • Reliable replacement - designed and tested to match the fit, function and performance of the original power window on certain vehicles
Cons
  • ugly packaging
