I really like the hex cubes. Most freeze very clearly. I have to carry them to the freezer in a stack on a makeshift cardboard tray. Even with the lid closed they're a bit thin to avoid spilling in transit, but the tray keeps me from spilling a drop. It's not as simple as a simple twist to push the cubes out. You have to knock them out of the bottom of the tray. It takes about a minute, but the dice are so good it's worth it. I'm using them as a temporary fix because my ice maker in my fridge has stopped working. I take the cubes from the ice maker basket and can use the crusher in the door to get ice when I need it. The cubes are good crushed or good whole depending on what I'm using them for. I don't know why he asks for "flavor". I fill them with a Brita jug and the cubes taste great. The peels don't add any weird flavor. And yes, I would buy them again.
