If you're buying this for a larger iPad Pro, that's fine. My wife uses it and we bought it for the "prop" ability. This works, but due to the weight of the iPad Pro, it easily slips out of the grooves designed to hold it at an angle. Certainly not a problem when used on a flat surface or table, but she spends most of her time on her lap and the case serves as a prop. Only occasionally did I see her rotate it for portrait use. but that option is there when you need it. I'll probably look for another case that snaps in a little better.
