I love that with time and effort this steam iron makes my hair smooth and shiny. I use it in combination with hair products to achieve a shiny look. It is best to divide the hair into sections and do it little by little. The slower you go over a small amount of hair, the smoother it becomes. I have very thick curly hair and it takes me a minute to style everything. But this hair straightener does it super duper straight. Be sure to remove the plastic from the iron, it blends into the finish and is a little hard to see. I definitely recommend this iron.
