I needed something special for my daughter who gave me five wonderful grandchildren. What a gift to be a grandmother. Lia Griffith Tropical Garden heavyweight crepe paper is thick and luxurious. It is pliable, shaped and you can use a spoon or a quilling tool with a big ball on a stick to give it a special look. All these dolls are made out of crepe paper, the wings are cheap thick paper and unfinished so they need some paint and maybe some washi lace paper to help them stay in a certain pose. The mother is "Tutu, the Flower Fairy Queen" who is holding "Princess Layla: In Tutu's Arms". The quilt is paper with washi lace on both sides, then the whole piece is twisted and turned until it looks like fabric (it still has a few days of work ahead of it, too. I've used several variations of Lia Griffith's crepe paper since they are already customized to make hundreds of colors in one set. Good luck!
