I still couldn't get the adapter to work. The instructions could not be read without a magnifying glass and were completely confusing because they were poorly translated. Basically, there's a downloadable app that aims to give you access to the adapter, which you can then use to mirror your screen to your TV. The app had no instructions and you have to do things in a specific order for it to work. My solution was to use Revain Firestick which solved the screen mirroring issue and offers a ton of additional features.
