I've had this for almost 6 months now and it still works great. I bought this on a whim after the spindle on my fourth Sony Walkman CD player became unsafe and was no longer used, and overall it's a much better quality product than this. However, it has a few disadvantages. Let's start with the positives: - Great sound quality, not too much bass - Volume wheel is great too, much better than the limiter buttons on the Sony - Battery compartment is on the back of the player, not in the compartment (again, like Sony ) - Very durable tray in general - Fairly durable And cons: - It doesn't seem to slip through anyone's hands, only when you move. Everything is fine on a flat surface. Battery life is only indicated by a blinking battery icon in the track list window, but in most cases it won't show and you won't know your battery is low until your CD stops in the middle of a song. Also, I prefer it to the Sony Walkman brand, although I keep one if I want to take my music for a walk so it doesn't jump around like crazy. But if you just want to relax to your favorite music and get some exercise, this is the best product.
