My dog is afraid of the door. She reluctantly tried (twice) to put her head through, and then before she could get her front paws in, she stepped back, her head between the door and the frame. She couldn't free herself without my help because she kept backing away and trying to free herself; the door stuck around her neck between her ears and shoulders. I can't blame the door for all of this, but I think if the entire door were clear and not just a small strip, the dog would be able to see what's on the other side and pass with a greater desire for it. I am now looking for a soft flap dog flap to replace this as it would be a disaster if it got stuck if I wasn't there to free it.
